Grangeville boys shut down Orofino

The Grangeville boys went on to win 54-23, securing a place no worse than tied with Orofino in the Central Idaho League standings.

Aiden Anderson returned from injury to lead all scorers with 17 points.

Orofino led 5-2 midway through the first quarter, but Tori Ebert sank a three-pointer to tie and the Bulldogs outscored Orofino 10-1 during the rest of the period. Anderson made back-to-back shots on the heels of an offensive rebound and lay-in by Dane Lindsley, and Harris followed with a three-pointer. Ebert made it 19-9 early in the second quarter, and the lead grew to 20 points, 31-11, on a traditional three-point play by Lindsley, who again turned an offensive rebound into points for the Bulldogs.

Grangeville's next game is at Clearwater Valley Thursday night, Feb. 13.
